Pilgrimage: Pray and Walk
as One Human Family

Step 1: Understand why we’re walking.

Everyone is on a journey, and no one journey is the same. But we all share one thing: we are humans on this earth together. We can learn from each other by sharing our stories. These stories help us learn about our neighbors and encourage us to grow in solidarity and compassion. Simply put—this is what it means to be human.

When we walk, we show love for our neighbors. Walking together signals the movement of a community respecting life. It lifts dignity and declares we are one human family. We walk to share the journey.

Step 2: Check to see if there’s a Pilgrimage Walk you can join. Here’s a list of walks that have already been organized that you can be a part of.
